Martin Lewis – Festive Forecaster 2018

Information on the Martin Lewis Festive Forecaster for 2018 is a little thin on the ground at the moment. We do know when it is but not how it will work this year.

On Tuesday 20th November 2018 Martin Lewis will be hosting a live Christmas special of the money show which will feature his incredibly popular festive forecaster.

What is the Festive Forecaster?

The forecast is a Christmas deals predictor on steroids! Martin Lewis and his team have analysed years and years worth of deals and discounts data in the hunt for trends which help to predict when the big retailers will start offering their Christmas deals.

Every little helps!

Imagine if you could predict when Amazon was due to start discounting popular Christmas gifts, or when Asda was going to cut prices on festive food. Big savings are possible (but not guaranteed) by using the Festive Forecaster with your Christmas shopping.

When will the Festive Forecaster be on TV?

Martin Lewis will be presenting a special show on ITV on Tuesday 20th November 2018 which will feature popular Christmas deals predictor so be sure to tune in and we will report on all the big findings here in case you miss anything.

How does the festive forecast work?

We’re not sure how the forecast will work for 2018. Last year the reporting started in the third week of November and deals were listed alphabetically. Even in November there were some great deals to be had such as Tesco offering 25% off six bottles of wine!

Black Friday deals

The forecaster has had to evolve as Black Friday has grown in popularity with many retailers focusing on this one day and less so on spreading their deals out over November and December.

Looking back to last year, the festive forecaster correctly predicted some amazing Black Friday deals from top stores such as Amazon, Game and John Lewis.

Should I trust the festive forecast?

Well, last year Martin Lewis and his team managed to get a 93% success rate. While there is no guarantee that they will get it right this year, there’s no harm in keeping an eye on the updates and letting it inform your planned shopping for Christmas gifts.
